1987 to 1991

Gittings worked as a photographer for the family studio at the Biltmore Fashion Park in Phoenix.

 

 


 

 

In 1990,

Paul Skipworth attemted to sue Neil Gittings

in federal court for trademark infringement.

At that time,Skipworth claimed to own the trademark.

Several years later,

Skipworth sold the company to Greg Lorphing

who now claimes to hold a monopoly on the name.

BULLOCKS WILSHIRE

 

Gittings managed a studio/gallery

on the second floor of  Bullocks Wilshire in Los Angeles.

Gittings worked at the family studio in Houston (Galleria) and the laboratory on D'Amico.

1971

In the summer of 1971,Readers Digest organized a cultural/student exchange between the United States and Romania. As the groups' photographer, Neil Gittings traveled with the Memorial Junior High choir to Romania.

The choir traveled throughout the country culminating in a concert for Nicholi Couchescu in Bucherest.
